i-Clean's growth drives sustainable office move
i-Clean Systems Ltd is moving its operation to Blackmore Business Park, Hanley Swan to better accommodate its rapidly growing team.
Mike Boxall, managing director of i-Clean said: "With many new client wins over the past 6 months and the growing success of our new recycling and waste offering, we have outgrown our existing premises. Our modern purpose-built facilities will provide a more efficient and enjoyable working space for our staff, while providing space for further expansion. The open plan design will allow our teams to better collaborate across departments for the benefit of our clients."
To ensure the move is as sustainable as possible, i-Clean has collaborated with the University of Worcester to furnish the new space with redundant furniture from the University. In lieu of payment, i-Clean has made a donation to the University of Worcester Hardship Fund. Any surplus IT equipment or furniture as a result of the move will be donated locally for re-use and recycling.
Commenting on the collaboration, Paul Taylor, recycling and waste project manager at i-Clean said: "These perfectly good assets would have otherwise been wasted. Through a re-use approach we have engaged in the circular-economy, reduced the carbon footprint and cost of our move and benefitted a charity in the process. We are very conscious of our corporate social responsibilities and would like to thank all parties that have engaged with us in this process."
From 1st July 2016 i-Clean's new office address will be:
